Independent Mortgage Bureau are one of a few independent mortgage brokers who are directly authorised by the Financial Services Authority, that are licenced to sell Home Information Packs (HIPS).
The packs were due to be officially launched on the 1st June 2007 but due to Government consultation it was delayed until 1st August 2007. By arranging your HIP through a company such as ours, it will leave you in a position of still being able to negotiate fees through your chosen estate agent, without feeling tied to them if you decide to change agency whilst marketing your property.
Through Independent Mortgage Bureau you can either pay for your HIP upfront OR for a small increase in cost, can delay payment for up to 9 months, or until your property is sold or withdrawn.
OPTION 1 - Upfront Payment. PRICE £299 + VAT for freeholds (£325 + VAT for leaseholds) (Up to £1,000,000 or less than 8 bedrooms) - includes registered or unregistered land. Payment by debit or credit card upon instruction.
OPTION 2 - Deferred Payment. PRICE £349 + VAT for freeholds (£375 + VAT for leaseholds) (up to £1,000,000 or less than 8 bedrooms) - includes registered and unregistered land.
